Ask the Stylist

Have you ever wanted to ask your hairstylist a question without having to take a trip to the salon? Well you can! Here, by clicking the link below, you can ask me (the hairstylist in residence) any questions about your hair that you could possibly have.

But before you get started, I  encourage you to read these guidelines.

Don't write in a hypothetical sense.
Speaking hypothetically doesn't enable me to give you the advice necessary for you to make a well informed decision about your hair. Questions such as:
  • "If I have brown eyes, would blonde hair look good with my face?"
  • "My hair is super-curly. How can I cut it to make it less curly?"
  • "Which haircut is best for a heart-shaped face?"
are not easy to answer, as I don't know anything about the person asking them. This leads into my next point.

Include Pictures.
By this, I mean pictures of you. I have little interest in seeing what hairstyles you are interested in. I want to know what hairstyles will suit your face, not the ones you like. Pictures of you allow me (as the stylist advising you) to analyze your facial features in order to come up with some ideas that will work for you.
If you don't want to include a picture, that is OK. However, you have to understand that without a picture I may not be able to help you to an extent at which you are satisfied.

Follow the Form.
Fill out all fields of the form. Each is there for a reason. Specifically, enter a valid email address. The answer to your question will be sent to that email address, and contact will be maintained in that way.

Keep in Contact.
Users are strongly encouraged to maintain contact with me. I really enjoy knowing how your adventures in the chair turn out, and if you're lucky, you might even be featured in one of my posts.
